WILD REMEMBRANCE
On a golden Solstice weekend, wild women gather. The aromas of cedar and sage infuse the air as the beeswax wick flickers its warmth against the cabin walls. Sacred Cacao brews slowly, waiting to gift us with her delicious and heart-softening nectar. We’ve come together to celebrate, to pray, to dance, to tend the medicinal seeds of sisterhood. We hold dear this lifelong collaboration with Mother Earth and remember the wild innate force within us, and how much stronger it becomes when we gather. In many ways, this is an act of rebellion. A radical rewriting of the story— the story of Power. We form a circle and weave our hands together like roots. We ignite the fire. We let the script burn.
Something important happens when women gather. When we can unapologetically be together without judgement, competition, or comparrison. When we ground ourselves in the ultimate knowing that each of us carries an important gift. When we give ourselves full permission to embrace our entire selves in the company of others, no matter our backstory or self-limiting beliefs, we experience our hearts through a new lens— one of compassion, curiosity, acceptance and celebration.
When we come together in circle, we are equal. We are witnessed, admired, understood and held with the same support and attention as one another. When we choose to cultivate sisterhood in this way, we inspire each other to pour our medicine out into the world. We hold the torch of healing for our daughters, sisters, nieces and granddaughters, and every woman in our lineage.
